So many friends, so many people,

Yet no one to talk to.

Her own mother abandoned her,

At her own walk.

She stood there in the dark,

Waiting to be held.

But little did she know,

That no one had cared.

She couldn’t open up to him,

He was struggling his own,

Just as confused.

And just as broke.

She remembers her mom say,

This is your own fight, dear.

You have to battle on your own.

She wrote and she wrote,

Only never to express.

Once a perfect orator,

Now put to rest.

In her head, there was a whirlwind of thoughts.

She could not articulate nor could she stop.

Thinking of how she ruined many,

She went on guilt trips every night.

Cried and cried, until she saw dawn light.
